Hello Pre-Kindy families and carers… only 6 more sleeps until Christmas! It is coming up so fast!
After morning tea today, Miss Livia read two of the children’s favourite stories – “An Aussie Night before Christmas” and “There’s a big green frog in the toilet”. The children really enjoyed these, and were extremely attentive.
Following this, we enjoyed engaging with the following play-based activities:
– Playdough with plastic counters, small matchsticks and scissors
– Going outside into the bricked terrace area to play with cars, trucks and boats – there was so much freedom outdoors to make lots of loud car nosies!
– Arakan self-defence class with Mr Daniel
– Making Christmas baubles with wooden cut outs, red and green paint, glue, sequins and glitter
– Playing with the large wooden doll’s house and its accessories
– Drawing in mini-whiteboards with our new neon highlighter pens
If this is your last day with us today in the Pre-Kindy room, we hope you have a beautiful Christmas break, and we shall see you again in the new year, when most of the children move up to Miss Emma’s room…they will be missed!
Much love, Miss Donna and Miss Amanda xxx
