Happy Thursday Families,
It has been so good to see everyone this morning! We welcomed so many friends into Kindy today. This morning was a tough morning for some of our friends at drop off, but fear not families within 5mintues children picked themselves up and were off playing. We know it is hard and heartbreaking to see your little ones upset but rest assured we are there for them and they always end up with a smile on their dials 🙂
This morning we welcomed Harry, Everlea, Colten, Bjorn, Conall, Harper, Chanel, Latika, Ariana, Charlotte, Cohen, Lachlan, Vaughan, Sayde, Lincoln, Aleksander, Avila and Harrison.
This morning we had Martial arts so the class split into half, we had half outside doing martial arts and half the class inside with Miss Tiffany where we were spending time talking about ANZAC and creating our poppies for our window display. Be sure to check it out tomorrow morning.
All children really enjoyed martial arts and burnt off a lot of energy.
We had group time this afternoon after rest time, where Miss Bek read our special Anzac book and we also got to watch a video about ANZAC day. When asked what ANZAC day meant to them we had a few children respond with; Cohen “The soldiers need to get back home” Lincoln “Soldiers are sad” Ariana “Marching” Avila “Poppies” Harrison “Some soldiers get hurt” Lincoln “soldiers get ANZAC cookies”
