Good afternoon to all our families. Today we welcomed Henry to our Pre Kindy family. He had lots of fun getting to know his new friends & joining in the games and activities. In particular he enjoyed doing the water colour art & making a collage chicken for our Spring Has Spring wall display. He also made some pies in the sandpit with his new friend Myah. Our activities today included building with the new stickle bricks, mobilo, play dough with loose parts & scissors, texta drawing as a group, water colour & salt artwork, creating collage chickens with paper plates, feathers & glue, feeding & caring for our babies in home area. We also had a spontaneous discussion about sharks, because Henry has sharks on his tee shirt, then Miss Donna shared some very special sharks teeth with us, which were passed around the class so everyone got to hold one and discuss it with the class. Also today Reid brought in his special dinosaur from home for show & tell, he told us that it is a costume that he wears and showed us how he puts it on and stomps like a dinosaur. Thank you Reid for sharing with us. We also enjoyed our magic disappearing blanket game and some new songs & circle games., as well as yoga with Miss Gabby.
