Good afternoon to all our Pre Kindy families & carers. We have had a busy & productive day, with our fun activities. Lots of creative invention this morning as Otto, turned the wheel barrow into his very own camping chair! Xavier & Mace used the coloured blocks to construct towers, all the while chatting about how high they could build them. Charlotte showed us her balancing skills as she walked around the playground on stilts.
Once indoors our morning became more creative as we made paper plate jelly fish, using glue, crepe paper & coloured card. Narla in particular enjoyed this activity. We have added the jellyfish to out under the ocean display.
Threading with a different assortment of coloured blocks & beads was popular, especially with India who made her very own necklace. Marshall & Amayah also designed necklaces. Other activities we offered today were
Measuring & pouring coloured rice with spoons & cups. Stamping with various stamps on paper, the stickle bricks, painting with thin brushes, which Ava, India & Narla really loved, showing of their artwork with big smiles on their faces. Outside the dinosaur trough was a hit, with Braxton, Reid & Xavier staging dinosaur fights. There was also a huge tea party in home are, with all the children sharing & chatting about cakes, tea, and drinks.
