Hello friends and families

Happy Friday!!

This morning we welcomed Rumi, Hudson, Kezia, Archie, Hunter, Zahra, Parker and Luca. The children spent some time in the yard where they rode around on bikes, read stories with Miss Bec, swung on the swing. We then headed indoors into the Pre-Kindy room while we waited for the Puppet show cast to set up. During this time we had a group time with Miss Bek, where she read “wombat stew” to us. We then sang “doggy doggy where’s your bone” before having morning tea with the Pre-Kindy class.

It was then time for the Larkin Puppet Show so all the children went and sat out on the verandah and waited. The puppet show was amazing! The children got to witness a show, where the puppets had conversations , sang songs and did some dance moves. The puppets sang songs about being kind to others, and liking the way we look just fine. The children got to dance and learn new songs. At the end of the show, the puppeteers showed the children how puppets work including the arms they use, if they are by themselves and also if they need an extra person to help with the puppet. They related the puppets to Elmo and Sesame street characters. The children absolutely loved this show!! We then came inside where the children had time to play with playdough and have a dance party before it was time for lunch. Today flew by!!

We are all now fast asleep. Please remember your family photos, it is great to see some of our families already up on the tree.

Love Miss Bec and Miss Aaliyah xx
