Good afternoon and welcome to Senior Kindy!
What a year we are about to have!
This morning we welcomed our friends into the big yard where they were free to roam and explore their new environment. The main hits were the swing, the big grass hill and the treetop. They loved exploring and all settled so well into the yard. This week we will be focusing on settling and welcoming the children while they explore their environment.
We then transitioned inside and to the bathroom where we washed our hands and sat down for morning tea. Once we had finished eating, we explored the new toys and puzzles, threading shapes onto thread, doing the alphabet puzzles, building train tracks and role playing in home corner.
Once the children had had enough of being inside, they then asked if they could go outside, so off we went! They absolutely love the big yard!
It was then time for us to go inside for lunch which we all enjoyed. We are all now fast asleep and ready for an afternoon of fun
We have had such a lovely day today and can’t wait for the year ahead.
