Happy Friday!
What a beautiful morning it was to spend time outside and enjoying the lovely experiences that were set up such as painting, practicing hopping on the snake hopscotch, swinging on the large swing and boats in the bubbly water trough. Our new friend Milly was welcomed by all the children and suggested a game of hide and seek. Welcome to Senior Kindy Milly, you were awesome day!
Today we joined in the Pre kindy room as a few children are away on holidays. The Senior kindy children were very excited to explore Miss Donna and Miss Lyn’s room. The children gobbled up a delicious morning tea before making their way over to the group time. We played a few games of Sleeping bunnies where we became jumping Bunnies, snapping crocodiles and stomping elephants. Miss Steph then read us a story chosen by Eva called ‘Grandpa and Thomas’.
The children then made their way to the table activities where we had mindful meditation sea creature coloring in, dolls house, stickle bricks, play dough, colored bug sorting, home corner and the fishing matching game. The stickle bricks were popular with Mr G who was helping the children make air crafts such as helicopters and planes!
The children also enjoyed home corner, role playing families and cooking up a storm.
