Happy Friday families and friends.
What a glorious day. We started our morning activities by doing some texta coloring with Miss Jess. After more of our friends arrived, some of us ventured out to ride the bikes around the track, using role play to be policemen and fireman. We were very busy giving out speeding fines and putting out fires. The sandpit was a hive of activity as we baked up a storm, creating cakes and cookies. Kaylee made Miss Lyn a very special soup for her lunch. We has some of our Toddler friends visit us today for a transition play. Harper, Lachlan, Conall, Ellie, Willow, Ivy, Asher, Zander, Colton, Latika, Hendrix, Kaylee, Ollie and Maia all engaged in our activity for Anzac Day, where they created Poppies using paper patty cases that the painted red, using sponged dipped into red paint. Lachlan, Harper and Conall also investigated the out door classroom and took turns sliding down the slippery slide. Other activities we chose today were running races, reading books quietly to ourselves, taking turns on the swing, and watching the birds outside the front fence finding their morning tea. At group time we listened to Miss Livia read a story called “Thankyou For Being My Friend” after which we talked about why its nice to have friends and who our friends are. “It makes us happy” said Asher. We also sang some song with Miss Lyn “I Had A Little Turtle” and “Flip Flop Went The Goldfish”. We hope you have enjoyed you day and we look forward to seeing you all again on Monday. Have a lovely weekend.
Love from Miss Livia and Miss Lyn. xxxx
