Hello families and friends…
What a super busy day of fun, learning and play in the Senior Kindy room today. This morning we continued on with identifying and negotiating roles during our hospital play experience. The children have had so much fun pretending to be doctors, nurses and patients as they create scenarios and utilise the doctors kits to tend their friends who are sick.
The children also enjoyed Funky Feet Dance with Miss Jen today as we all practiced our dance routines, created a dancing train and had fun with the colourful pom poms. Yarn time today we learnt some new nursery rhymes and songs with Miss Leesa including ‘She’ll Be Coming Round the Mountain’ and ‘Little Cottage in the Woods’. Show and tell time today our friend Ryan brought along ‘The Australian Twelve Days of Christmas’ story book. Ryan Kindly acted out all of the animals in the book as Miss Leesa sang the song. Ryan proudly bowed as his friends clapped and cheered him on his performance. Well Done Ryan!
Other play experiences today included dress ups in the princess costumes, role play in home corner – cooking and cleaning, collaging using the glue sticks and recycled paper and transport play…
