Happy Friday families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room we finished off our Halloween celebrations by engaging in some fun art/craft experiences. This morning the children expressed their creativity with Halloween themed collages and then transitioned to sensory play dough play with the spiders and bugs. We also shared ‘Room on the Broom’ as the children helped tell the story as we have been sharing the book all week for group time. Miss Jen then arrived for Funky Feet dance as the children all joined in and danced to Halloween themed dance songs. The children then returned to the room to make observations about all the art/craft displayed in our hallway that they have been creating throughout the week. The children were particularly proud of their paddle pop stick skeletons. The Senior Kindy friends then gathered at the table to make red hand prints as we recognised ‘Day for Daniel’. Yarn time the children enjoyed ‘show and tell’ again as our friend Wilder confidently showed off his 3 racing cars to his peers and Denis proudly showed off his skeleton costume.
