Happy Friday families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room the children were excited to engage in a variety of fun child initiated experiences. Alek requested the ‘pom pom’ experience from yesterday as the children quickly gathered around to carefully place the pom poms into the egg cartons again. Harper requested play dough play as the children took turns and utilised the rollers to make flat pancakes and then used the paddle pop sticks to create patterns in the dough. Conall requested drawing so Miss Leesa collected the whiteboards and markers and the children drew snakes and circles. Connor then requested to read some of Miss Leesa’s ‘special books’ from the shelf. Today we shared ‘What’s that Noise Little Mouse’ and ‘The Very Noisy Bear’. Other play experiences today included train play, baby doll play, home corner play and felts and puppets…
