Happy Friday Senior Kindy!

Today we welcomed Hudson, Toby, Luca, Parker, Archie, Hunter, Orion, Lincoln, Rumi, Aria, Poppy, Isabelle, Kezia and Zahra. Our friends spent their morning indoors with the educators due to the rainy weather. We had a range of activities including train tracks, lego, picnic’s with the babies in home corner and listening to music. We then settled down for morning tea, where we completed self serve.

After morning tea, we sat on the mat with Miss Bec where we read “Harry and the dinosaurs said rahh”. We then got interrupted by music coming from outside. We all looked outside to see three big animals on the back of some trucks. We were all so shocked and suprised! We then heard that they were coming into the driveway, so we made a choo choo train, holding a partners hand and headed out onto the drop off area to look. We all sat on the blue mats and watched the animals drive in. We were all amazed about how big they are, and they were even making noises! We saw a koala, a cockatoo and a kookaburra. The children absolutely loved this! We even got to walk around the animals and touch them. The animals were made out of wood and Australian resources. It was amazing to see.

Once we had finished looking, we came inside where we made our own Echnidna’s using clay. The children rolled their clay into a ball, then added match sticks and googly eyes. This was to end our NAIDOC week celebrations. They absolutley loved it.

What an amazing day!

Have a great weekend!
