Happy Monday families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room we welcomed our new friends ‘Ariana’ and ‘Bella’ who have both settled in beautifully. We hope you had lots of fun today girls and have made some new friends. I also wanted to share some photos from Friday when we celebrated Charlotte’s 3rd Birthday. Thanks for sharing your birthday with us ‘Charlie’ and the delicious cake…Yum…
This morning in the Senior KIndy room we started our day in the great outdoors as we enjoyed climbing and sliding on the mountain, pushing the giant dump trucks and role playing and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. We all then transitioned indoors for our ‘Acknowledgement to Country’ and morning songs. Yarn time we shared a story about a little tadpole that tries to keep up with all the other animals around the pond entitled ‘The Teeny Weeny Tadpole”. We then joined Miss Haley for our Monday ‘Yoga Session’. Today the children practiced their breathing and balancing a coloured stone on their tummy and forehead as they wiggled their fingers and toes.
Play experiences today included sensory playdough play with the shape cutters, paddlepop sticks and rollers, puzzle play, building with the magnetic tiles, drawing on the chalkboard, dress-ups and role play in home corner, baby doll play, transport play and dollhouse play…We also continued on with practicing our self-help skills including wiping our own faces and putting on our own shoes to play… WOW… What a super busy day of fun, learning and play in the Senior Kindy room today…
