Happy Monday! Only 9 more sleeps until Christmas!
This morning the Senior Kindy children were working together to build with the large blocks outside. They were using their problem thinking skills to carefully balance and place their chosen block. We had then had morning tea up in the fort before heading inside to enjoy the cool room. The children noticed straight away that Mr Elf had moved and was now sitting on the camera charger. “Silly Elf ” they said. We relaxed on the mat, reading stories together. Miss TJ then read and acted out the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” using the picture board. The children had their full attention on Miss TJ and even helped her with the story.
Senior Kindy then went and explored the room, choosing some fun activities to play with. We did some Christmas sticker craft, painting on the easels, decorating the felt christmas trees, racing the cars on the car mat and dressing up and role playing in the home corner. Miss TJ also put the Goldilocks picture board on the table for the children to re tell the story.
We wish Asher and Zander a Merry Christmas, as this is their last day for the year. Have the most amazing time on your Christmas cruise! Miss TJ has loved having you all in the Senior Kindy class.
