Hello friends,
Happy Monday! Welcome to the very last week of 2020 in the Senior Kindy room!
After we spent this beautiful morning outside, we all came and sat on the mat for our morning yarn time with Miss Leesa and Miss Tatyana. We sang our Good Morning songs and Acknowledgement to Country, then did a bit of Show and Tell for the friends that had something they wanted to share with the class. We always encourage the children to show us their interests and talk to us about what makes them excited and happy. Thank you to Lachlan, Bjorn and Taran for showing us your special books and pictures 🙂
After re-energizing our bodies with some morning tea, we played amongst the classroom environment. We had fun with our friends and engaged in our favorite activities like shown in the pictures. Today, we especially got involved in a little Christmas activity! Senior Kindy got to decorate our felt Christmas tree all on their own with the felt decorations. They really enjoyed this one!
After packing away, we got ourselves ready for our afternoon yarn time. Miss Leesa read us a new Christmas story and we were showed some Christmas rhymes and songs!
It was then time for us to have a big lunch and rest our bodies.
