Hello families and friends…
Happy Monday! We started our morning today with a big play outside in the yard while it was still nice and cool. We enjoyed playing with the big Connect 4, building big car tracks with the blocks, and climbing up and down the dome and tree-house and taking in the beautiful warm day.
When we came inside, we sat on the mat for our group-time with Miss Leesa, Miss Danna and Miss Tatyana, today we did our very favourite songs as well as some fun Christmas Songs! We then moved off to wash our hands ready to fill our bellies with morning tea! Today we practiced self-serving our own food, making our own choices and using the tongs to pick what we wanted.
Soon after, we had an indoor play amongst all of our favorite toys in Senior Kindy! There was lots of role-play, home corner play, car racing, Lego building and puzzles! To continue with our Christmas theme we used green paint to paint our hands and create our very own Christmas Trees! We love painting in Senior Kindy.
After we had a play inside, Miss Hailey came to do yoga with us! We are so great at using our bodies and manipulating them to create different yoga poses. Our favourite song is “Sleeping Bunnies: Yoga Edition”. When we came back in the room, we read a special Christmas story and then used technology to find another special Christmas story to watch.
We then ate our yummy lunch and filled up our bellies before rest time.
