Hello families and friends…

This morning during Yarn Time our friend Taran proudly showed off her ‘show and tell’ to all her friends. Taran’s mummy sent through some beautiful pictures of a ‘blue-tongue lizard’ they discovered in their garden. Taran explained that the lizard was friendly and liked to eat ‘bugs’. Thanks Taran for sharing today!

This week in the Senior Kindy room we are going to be practising our self-help skills including helping make our own beds and then packing away our own sheets after rest time. Today the children also displayed some other wonderful self-help skills including wiping faces after meal times, cleaning off plates into the bin and then washing hands and placing drinks in the trolley. Some friends also managed to put on their own paint shirts today – occasionally the paint shirt was backwards – buts that’s ok! Well Done Senior Kindy!

Other play experiences today included painting using the water colours, singing and dancing to nursery rhymes, puzzle play, sensory playdough play with the scissors, hammers and rollers, transport play and Yoga with Miss Haley – pretending to be all different types of animals including a swimming turtle, a balancing panda and a shuffling penguin.

What a super fun day of learning and play…

.Until next time…

Love Miss Leesa and Miss Maddie
