Hello Senior Kindy!!
This morning we welcomed Kezia, Zilo, Lincoln, banjo, Archie, Dominic, Poppy, Goku, Luca, alanis and Rumi into kindy. We started the morning out in the yard with our friends from Pre Kindy. We spent the morning climbing, drawing, swinging on the swing, attempting to hang from the monkey bars and climbing up and down the green grass hill. Once Miss Bec and all of our friends had arrived, we headed inside to wash our hands and sit down for morning tea.
After morning tea, we sat down for group time where we read we are going on a bear hunt and that alpaca ate my cracker. Miss Bec then made a car track with tunnels and obstacles for the children to zoom around. We also made some fake money, where the children played shops selling different fruit and veg to each other. Miss Bed also got out some shape tracing worksheets, where some of the children did really well at tracing the lines. This is good to work on our hand eye, drawing and coordination skills and helping children extend on their scribble. It was then time for yoga, where we stretched, danced and relaxed our bodies. We then headed outdoors for a run around, swinging on the swings and playing in home corner.
