Hello families,
Happy Thursday!
Today, we enjoyed exploring our favorite place to play, outside! We tried to soak up as much fresh air as we could before the rain comes.
When we made the transition inside, we engaged in some group time. Our little friends wanted to revisit the story ‘The Gruffalo’ since they liked it so much yesterday and for our new friends who haven’t heard the story. The Gruffalo entails a very interesting and mysterious journey of coming across other animals in the woods and shows you the confidence that the little mouse built. The children love it!
After also singing our favorite songs, saying our Acknowledgement to Country and preparing ourselves for morning tea, we re-energized our bodies and then chose our favorite activities to play with inside!
Allowing the children to initiate and engage in the activity of their choice really helps the educators in the room to know and understand what each of their interests are and how they may interact and learn 🙂
We then got to participate in this week’s Arakan Martial Arts class with Mr. Daniel! We love getting involved in extending on our physical skills and its also lots of fun! Thank you Mr Daniel.
Back at the classroom, we were all ready to pack away for lunch and have a little rest after our crazy day!
