Hello Senior Kindy!
This morning we welcomed Lachlan, Parker, Hunter, Zahra, Everly, Goku, Dominic, Finley, Ella and Luca. We spent the morning indoors roaming between the activities that Miss Bec had set up. On one table we had shells and building mirror blocks, on another table we had colour building blocks and on the other table we had pour nature sensory tray. The reading circle was also set up with a variety of books for the children to sit and read. Miss Deb then arrived along with all of our friends so we sat down for morning tea.
After morning tea, we sat down for a group time with Miss Bec where we read “tooth brushing babe” and “animal magic”, before we put on the speaker and danced to animal freeze. Miss Deb then got out some car painting, where the children used their toy cars to dip in paint and push them along on the paper, making a track. The children also enjoyed adding in the shells to the towers that they were building with he mirror blocks.
It was then time for Arakan martial arts, where we rectified our punching, into punching bags and practiced our following the leader skills. Once we came back indoors, we had a bit of a dance party, dancing to different songs and sounds, even incorporating the ocean noises.
