Hello families and friends…
Today we welcomed our new friend Adam to the Senior Kindy family. We hope you had fun today Adam and made some new friends..This morning we continued on with recognising ‘National Science Week’ as the children excitedly observed a ‘red and green glitter volcano’ erupt. The children helped identify all the ingredients required for the experiment including vinegar, bi-carb soda, food colouring and glitter. The children carefully observed as they noticed the mixture quickly rising to the top of the jug and then overflowing into the tub. Miss Leesa then emptied the rest of the bicarb soda into the tubs as the children called out, ‘There’s more bubbles’. What a super fun experience for the children and we hope you all have time to try the experiment at home.
Other play experiences today included puzzle play, sensory playdough play with the paddlepop sticks and rollers, cooking and cleaning in home corner, dress-up play, transport play, building shapes with the magnetic tiles, sharing books in home corner, baby doll play and taking turns with the new Ferris Wheel.
WOW… What a super fun and busy day of learning and play at kindy today…
Until next time…
Love Miss Leesa, Miss Tatyana and Miss Danica
