Hello Riversdale families,
Welcome to a Terrific Tuesday!
We began this beautiful day surrounded by our senior building friends, exploring outside. We made sure we all stayed very hydrated throughout our day!
Once we made the transition inside the Senior Kindy room, we sat on our mat for some group time. We welcomed one another and our educators as a positive and inclusive start to our day 🙂 After we sang our morning songs and ‘Acknowledgement to Country’ we transitioned to the bathroom to wash hands ready for some refreshing morning tea.
We then enjoyed some free play within the classroom environment and particularly engaged in some fun Christmas activities too! We did some collaging with special Christmas decorations and paper as well as lots of water color painting, stencil/texta drawing and lots of building and play-dough fun! We really enjoyed getting involved in today’s classroom activities 🙂
Senior Kindy then sat on the mat for our afternoon group time. Miss Tatyana read us a Christmas story and we had a class discussion on what we’re all excited for when Christmas comes!
Soon it was time for us all to pack away and get ourselves ready for a big lunch and a rest.
