Hello Riversdale families,
Welcome to a terrific Tuesday!
After we started our day having fun in our yard, waiting for all of our friends to arrive, we transitioned inside smoothly for our morning group time. We sat on the mat and welcomed one another and our educators as an inclusive and positive start to our day! We then did a little Show and Tell and some of our friends stood up and talked about some special things that they wanted to share with the rest of us. It was so great to see friends have the confidence and enthusiasm to share something exciting with the class 🙂 Connor told us all about his new baby sister that the Spiers family welcomed into the world! And Skylah showed Senior Kindy her speical shell that she brought from home! Thank you Connor and Skylah for sharing. Tomorrow someone else can share something with the room if they like, we love hearing from each of you!
Miss Lyn then read a book for us all to enjoy as we come into the week of HALLOWEEN! The story was called ‘Room on the Broom’ and we loved what it was about! Thank you Miss Lyn 🙂
After we had our morning tea, we all got to engage in some indoor play. We did lots of fun activities for all of us to be involved in! There was water color painting, home corner play, puzzles and lots of car racing. We even got to do some fun Halloween arts and craft as we made our very own skeletons! We loved it!!
After packing away all of the activities and toys, we went for a little run outside before the rain comes, ready to come back into the classroom for a big lunch and a little rest.
Senior Kindy had a fabulous day and we hope that you all did too 🙂 We can’t wait to see you all in the remainder of our Halloween week!
