Happy Tuesday families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room the children enjoyed an extended play in the great outdoors. After a yummy morning tea picnic, the children were excited to explore and play with their peers. The children enjoyed playing with the diggers in the wet sand, balancing along the ropes, and playing ‘connect four’. Some friends engaged in water play in the big green trough, measuring and pouring water and blowing the bubbles. The Senior Kindy children then went on a little adventure to explore the new playground and take turns racing down the slides. The children had so much fun climbing up the stairs and then sliding down the slides ‘super fast’. The children also worked together to share the bikes, practised their climbing and balancing skills on the climbing frames and engaged in role play with the dollhouse. Yarn time today we shared stories of the children’s choice including ‘The Very Greedy Bee’, ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’ and ‘My Daddy ate an Apple’.
