Hello families,
Happy Tuesday! Hope you have all had a great start to the week.
Today, we played amongst our yard while we waited for all of our friends to arrive this morning 🙂 Some of us enjoyed jumping and climbing up our rock wall and tunnel, and lots of other fun physical activities! We love playing outside!
We soon made the transition inside our room, washed our hands and enjoyed some morning tea. Following that, we explored within our room and engaged in some inside play. We love that we get to choose what we wanna play with out of a good variety, and to also extend on different interests and friendships 🙂
We then got to take part in a little arts and craft activity which related to our theme of Superheroes this week! There was paper, glue, paddle-pop sticks and collage paper. Out of these materials we made little Superhero capes! We loved it 🙂
When it was time to pack away, we all participated in our daily group/yarn time. After singing our favorite songs and having some group discussions, Miss Leesa read us a book called ‘The Very Super Bear’. This story entails a bear making a cape out of a picnic blanket and saved his other animal friends from some situations 🙂 It was a great story extending on Superhero week!
Soon it was time for us to have some lunch and recharge our little bodies with a quick rest.
