Hi families! hoping you are having a fantastic Wednesday!
Today we began our day with a lovely big play outside in the yard where we greeted some of our friends who are coming to join us in Senior Kindy next week, it’s so nice meeting new people and creating new friendships! We enjoyed riding the bikes, showing our new friends the bike track, the swing, climbing up the treehouse to race down the slides, and swinging from the monkeybars in the sandpit!
When we came inside, we sat on the mat and sung our good morning song, said our acknowledgment to country and welcomed each other into kindy for the day. We continued on with our celebrations of NAIDOC week by reading “The Rainbow Serpent” for the children, they loved this story and were asking lots of questions! After morning tea we moved onto our activities for the day, with the playdough table, painting, puzzles, building with legos, and our favourite – cooking in home corner!
