Hello families and friends…
What a super fun day of learning and play in the Senior Kindy room today. We started our day off with our ‘Acknowledgement to Country’ and Good Morning Songs and a group conversation about why our Daddies are important to us as we started making some special gifts for Father’s Day. Play time today the children engaged in sensory playdough play using the insect and bug figurines to role play. The children also kept busy working in pairs to complete the animal matching puzzle. Some friends enjoyed transport play on the car mat with the emergency stations while some friends kept busy sharing storybooks from the shelf. Yarn time today we shared a story about a young shark called ‘Chomp’ who was afraid to go to school and make new friends. The children helped identify all the different sea animals in the story as we discussed the importance of looking after our sea animals and the ocean as part of our ‘Deep Sea Theme for National Science Week’.
