Hello families and friends…
Today in the Senior Kindy room we continued on with sharing new stories and learning new songs during our morning Yarn Time. Today we shared ‘By the Billabong’ and ‘Tippy and Jellybean’, both books about our beautiful Australian animals that live in the bush. This morning we also learnt two new songs including ‘Here is a Beehive’ and ‘There’s a House with the Walls. The children had so much fun singing as they built houses and towers with the wooden blocks and pretending there houses were ‘falling down’ like in the song.
Other play experiences today included sensory play dough play with the scissors and paddle pop sticks, puzzle play with the tree house and castle puzzles, building towers and creating patterns with the magnetic tiles, dress-up play in home corner and sharing books in book corner.
