Good afternoon Senior Kindy friends,
Today we welcomed so many of our friends including, Henry W, Aria, Nayla, Zahra, Banjo, lachlan, Grace, Alanis, Kezia, Goku, Luca, Rania, Henry L, Hudson, Everly and Poppy into the room. The children spent as much time outside as they could this morning before the rain hit. They spent the morning shooting basketball hoops, knocking over towers with the ball, kicking the ball between the soccer nets and role playing in the mud kitchen.
Before morning tea, the children shared a group time with Miss Bec where we sang “Hello how are you” and “if you’re happy and you know it before washing our hands and sitting down for morning tea.
After morning tea, the children sat on the mat and had a dance party to our favourite songs. At the moment, our favourite songs are Gummy Bear, Party Freeze, Animal Freeze and Let it go. We absolutely love singing to the Frozen songs! We then spoke about Mothers Day and about how much we love our mums. The children called their mummy’s beautiful and said they love you!! We then transitioned to the tables where we are completing our Mothers ay surprise gift. On another table we had spaghetti painting, where we used the spaghetti sticks to dip into paint and draw. We also cut up a bathing loofa and use d that to paint as well. We then sat on the mat with Miss Aaliyah where we played duck duck goose, sang ring a ring a rosy and heads, shoulders knees and toes.
Before we knew it, it was time for us to clean up and sit down for lunch.
