Good afternoon families,
We started our morning outdoor playing with our friends from Toddlers One and Toddlers Two in the big yard. A lot of climbing and running outside. When Miss Thais arrived we transitioned inside the Room where we had our delicious morning tea – Toast and beans.
We also welcome our new friend Nikora from Babies 3 who came to join us for the rest of the day. Our Story Time today was the Book chosen by Parker “Hamish Cow” and Miss Thais also read our favorite one “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?” The children were really engaged during the reading and they also helped Miss Thais to identify the animals and the colours.
Later Miss Thais also did a Group Time activity with them where they got the chance to identify the numbers and colours whilst trying to peg them onto the woollen string. The children were not really interested in this, so we put on some music, where we loved singing and rowing to “Row, row, row your boat”. Some of us sat in a circle holding hands rocking back and forth.
Today Miss Thais also set up the magnetic whiteboards where we enjoyed sticking the magnetic objects on and moving them around.
We have had such a busy and fun-filled day!
