Hello families and friends…
Today the Toddler children had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors. The children had a fabulous morning racing the 3-wheeler bikes on the bike track, role-playing with the diggers in the sandpit and engaging in water play as they filled the watering cans to give the plants a big drink. The Toddler friends then gathered on the big swing as they all called out ‘higher, higher’ as Miss Leesa pushed them back and forth.
Indoors the children were excited to practise their fine motor skills as they utilised the pegs to collect pom poms and then dip them in paint to create patterns on their page. The children noticed they were creating spots and circles on their page as they counted how many spots they were painting with Miss Lyn. Yarn time the children requested some of their favourite stories including the ‘ABC Animals’ and ‘Who Sank the Boat?’ The children then washed their hands as we practised our handwashing transition song for big lunch which was yummy meatballs and vegetables today!
