Good afternoon Toddler One families and friends. Today we welcomed two new friends, Tobias & Ryan to our toddler Room. They have had a fun morning, engaging in various experiences and making new friends. Outdoors the bikes were popular, as was pushing the wheel barrows around the bike track and through the sandpit. Colton Y. enjoyed digging in the sandpit with the diggers, Some of us gave the baby dolls a bath in the big green tub. Once indoors we settled on the mat for our acknowledgment to country & Yarn time, where we sung our good morning songs as well as our transition songs, before washing our hands for morning tea. Our art experience today was painting using small tree branches as an extension from our woodchip gluing experience last week. This was enjoyed by Bella, Banjo, Lachlan, Tobias, Bjorn and Colton. Harry and Dallas engaged in a peg bucket activity, practising their fine motor & hand/eye co ordination skills as they placed the pegs onto the edge of the buckets, Bella & Banjo also joined in. Other activities we have enjoyed today are – Identifying farm animal sounds from our animal sound bingo game, building with the leggo blocks was popular with Ryan, Banjo quietly read books and then we all did yoga with Miss Hayley.
