Happy Monday families and friends…
Today in the Toddler room we welcomed our new friends Dallas and Harrison who are settling in nicely and starting to make new friendships. This morning the children were excited to explore the room and engage in a variety of fun play experiences. Role play in home corner was popular as the children played dress-ups and pretended to cook and clean using the new home corner kitchen. Construction play was great fun as the children built transport vehicles with the Lego and farms with the poly M blocks. Miss Lyn prepared a cotton bud painting experience for the children as they happily made their way to the table to paint and express their creativity and help each other identify the colours. The children then transitioned to sensory play dough play at the table as they made snakes and big flat pancakes with the red dough. Other play experiences today included role-play with the doll house, sharing story books on the mat and building towers with the wooden blocks. Yarn time today the children chose ‘Brown Bear’ and ‘I love my Mummy’ story books to share as a group. We look forward to seeing you again tomorrow – Love from Miss Leesa, Miss Lyn & Miss Thais xxx
