Hello families and friends and welcome to another fabulous day of fun and play in the Toddler room today!
This morning the children gathered around the table to help Miss Leesa identify the animals and objects on the picture flashcards. The children really enjoy playing the matching game and counting how many pairs they can find.
Miss Lyn prepared an art experience for the children to paint their favourite bird or bug to continue on with our theme this week, The children had a wonderful time expressing their creativity spreading paint across the page using the sponges. The children displayed enthusiasm for more creative experiences so Miss Lyn collected the thick textas for the children to draw pictures and practise their fine motor skills.
Mr. Daniel arrived for ARAKAN and some of our friends were keen to make their way outdoors for Martial Arts. Indoors the children continued on with their interest for role play in home corner. The children displayed very good turn taking skills and playing in pairs with peers as they engaged in dress up play, baby doll play and pretending to wash up in the kitchen!
