Good afternoon families,

Today we welcomed our friends Halle, Ariana, Millie, August, Diego, Liz, Luna, Thomas, Abel, Ruby, and Isabella. We enjoyed the nice weather and decided to go outdoor as soon we all got here. Our friends enjoyed taking turns on the balance bikes, filling the trucks with sand, and singing 5 little monkeys on the bridge. After enjoying some free play outside we all sat down together where Miss Thais read to us “There was an old lady who swallowed the sea” our friends really enjoyed this book. We then all sang “bee bee” to transition inside for some morning tea – today our friends go to enjoy “Delicious Apple, Chai and Date pancakes”.

After we all packed away our morning tea we grouped together on the mat where Ruby showed her friends all the photos, she took on her holiday she went on! Our friends loved seeing all the photos and seeing all the different places and animals Ruby saw while she was away. Thank you, Ruby, for bringing these in we loved it!! After our group time, we then went over to the tables where Miss Jordan and Miss Maddi had set up a fun activity for us for NAIDOC week, our friends got to do some dot painting on different Aboriginal symbols and animals that Miss Jordan and Miss Maddi drew for us by using the recycle cardboard. With our friends pointing out what they saw on the cardboard and saying “dot dot dot” as they all painted together.

After we finished our activity, we all ventured outside together to enjoy the warm sun and free play before sitting down for some “Supercharged Spaghetti Bolognese” for lunch – our friends loved this all asking for more 😊.

We are now all resting our bodies ready for another busy and fun afternoon outside together, see you soon!

Much love; Miss Thais, Jordan and Maddi xo
