Happy Wednesday families and friends!!!
Today in the Toddler room the children kept busy with a variety of fun play experiences. The children were given the opportunity to express their creativity via cotton bud painting and engage in sensory playdough play using the recycled lids to create patterns and shapes. Some friends enjoyed balancing the wooden ABC blocks and building towers, while some friends worked together to build with the wooden train track.
Home corner play was popular today as the children identified and negotiated roles pretending to prepare meals for the baby dolls and play dress-ups. Building transport vehicles with the lego is always great fun as the children use their imagination to design and create.
Yarn time today Miss Lyn shared ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar” upon request by the group as the children identified their favourite foods that the caterpillar was munching on… Yum!!!
