Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today we took advantage of it being a bit cooler, and chose an outdoor play day. After our morning tea, we reapplied sunscreen and mozzie spray and headed outdoors. Some of us chose to practise our gross motor skills as we had races around the bike track on the new wooden bikes. We practiced our climbing skills on the fort and our balancing skills on the obstacle course. The sandpit was the place to be for construction with the buckets and spades as we took turns to see who could build the biggest sand castle. We also sat on the mat and read some stories. Other activities we enjoyed today were – Little Big Sports Soccer – Lego construction on the verandah – Our Yarn time story was “My Daddy Ate An Apple” and “Koala’s Big Day Out … We also continue our self help skills, as we place our drink bottles on the tables before lunch.
