Happy Wednesday Toddler One families and friends. Today the children were given the opportunity to continue our farm animal theme by creating collage pigs, using coloured glue, repurposed lace, paper and felt. This teaches the children about recycling. While engaging in this activity Harry told his friends that he has a pig at home. Extending on this, some of the children constructed farm buildings out of the leggo blocks. Other activities we enjoyed included – Yarn time, our acknowledgment to country, as well as singing our good morning and transition songs on the mat at morning group time. We also continue to practise our self help skills as we pack away our drink bottles after meal times. We are looking forward to seeing where our farmyard adventure takes us tomorrow.
