Happy Wednesday families and friends…
What a super fabulous day of fun and play in the Toddler room today.. This morning we welcomed our new friend Isla, who was very excited with the rest of the Toddlers to venture outdoors to our new playground. The children explored the outdoor environment as they took turns down the slides, balanced along the bridge and confidently climbed through the netting.
Indoors the children enjoyed using the brushes to paint on the felt pieces with Miss Lyn. The children observed that the felt was soft to touch as they happily painted. During play dough play the children made stars with the cookie cutters as they all joined in and sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star together. Home corner was popular today as the children played in small groups and pairs to role play and prepare meals in the kitchen and take care of the baby dolls in their cots.
Yarn time today we shared some of our favourite songs and rhymes with actions and the children requested sleeping bunnies before we washed our hands for big lunch time.
