Good Afternoon friends and families,
This morning we welcomed Lara, Dominic, Millie, Parker, Rumi, Onyx, Nikora, Tua, Abel, Kynell, Ivy, Zahra, Alia, Nayla, and Diego into the yard. The children spent the morning throwing balls around, riding the bikes, climbing and jumping on the obstacle course, and engaging in water play. They are really enjoying eachothers company, engaging with one another both verbally and non-verbally. We then sat down outdoors, read the ABC book, sang a couple of songs then transitioned indoors to wash our hands and sit down for morning tea.
After morning tea,the children had three options of what they would like to do. Some decided to stay inside and have free play with Miss Maddi, where they enjoyed the animals and farming figures. Some stayed inside with Miss Thais and completed a Christmas tree art activity and the rest went outdoors with Miss Bec. Outdoors, the children spent the time observing the horses who were putting on a show, kicking their back legs and running around the yard. Parker even found a dandelion through the fence! Before we knew it, all the children had joined us outdoors and were throwing the balls around and loving the obstacle course.
We then gathered and sat down as a group where we sang “one little finger”, “the wheels on the bus” and “bee bee bumble bee” before transitioning indoors for lunch.
We are all now fast asleep, resting and getting ready for a fun filled arvo.
