Terrific Tuesday♥
Good evening families and welcome to our day here in the Toddlers Two room.
We started this glorious day by greeting all your little munchkins before we set way to the great outdoors! The children roamed freely around the playground and engaged in a variety of activities that were set up as well as spontaneously playing.
- Using our mighty strong legs to speed fast around the bike track and at times going off track to drive on the bumpy rocks that lead them to the bark.
- Climbing the playground with glee
- Reading books with their friends from Toddlers One and Toddlers Two
- Making sandcastles in the sandpit
- Exploring the garden and playing a game of peek – a – boo!
As the time flew by, we all came inside and came together on the mat for group time before morning tea. In group time we read a story called ”Spots birthday party” The children enjoy the flip up books as they like to interact and help open each flap up. When the book was finished we then sung ” Wheels on the bus” before singing our transition song to wash hands for morning tea. The children are all doing so well with the new menu we have for meals now, they are all giving it a go and some just can’t get enough of the scrumptious meals!
When all children had finished they then helped pack away before adventuring around the classroom. These are some self select activities that the children enjoyed doing this morning.
- Problem solving with puzzles! The children enjoy working out where each puzzle piece fits and they are showing great interest for our new puzzles that we got!
- Freely drawing! Using their imagination flow as they create their own art on paper with the pencil and crayons.
- Driving the trucks and cars around the car track on the floor
For our planned activity today the children were able to create their own plant is the start of our activities that we have planned for nature week! The children liked being involved and being able to do their own, creating something so special with the touch of their hands and love. Afterwards the children were able to journey around the outdoor environment before we all came inside to eat delicious lunch before we all rested on our beds to have lots of energy for this afternoons delight of joy and happiness
