Good Afternoon families and happy Friday!
We have had a very busy day indoors today due to the rain and the playground being wet 🙁
We started our morning by having some free play, where we played with whatever we wanted and how we wanted. This was mainly the magnetic blocks, trucks, and home corner. Before we knew it, it was time for morning tea, which was porridge and fruit today! YUM!!
After morning tea, Miss Bec lead our group time where we read “Brown Bear Brown Bear” and our “Feelings” book. The children really enjoy this book! We then continued our group time by sitting down and playing with our musical instruments. Miss Bec played a game with us where she would sing a song and we would play our instruments but when she said FREEZE! we had to stop until she said GO again! We loved this game 🙂
We then had our dancing teacher come in, where we danced around with our streamers and pom poms. It was a very musical morning for us here in Toddler 2! We danced to “Freeze”, pretended to be “sleeping bunnies” and much more! We love Fridays 🙂
Today was Jeans for Genes day, so we got a pair of jeans for our art and craft activity today. We painted all over the jeans in all different colours. We thoroughly enjoyed this as we painted all over the clothing.
We then settled down for lunch and are now sleeping refuelling our bodies.
