Happy Friday everyone!
Today we welcomed our friends Ruby, Isabella, Ariana, Abel, Millie, Lara, Ivy, Ava, Isla, Lincoln, Aria, Onyx and Tua. We started our early morning playing outdoors listened to Moana songs. We really enjoyed jumping on the bridge and racing around. We also did colouring and drawing and enjoyed read some books. Was time to transition inside and Miss Jordan sang our famous “Bee bee bumble bee” and “If you happy and know it, clap your hands”. The children had Tuity Fruity today for morning tea and they loved to help themselves by using the spoon.
Miss Thais did our Group time activity playing some “flash cards” where she asked the children what colour and image they could see. We also count together until 12. The children are getting more familiar with the numbers after practising a lot this week.
Miss Jeni came today to dance with us! At this time we enjoyed dancing outdoors on the stage. Our toddlers friends love to dance. All of them responded so well during the dancing activity.
We are celebrating Waitangi Day, the national day of New Zealand today, so for our activity time, Miss Thais and Miss Jordan created some masks with paper plates and asked the children to decorate by painting and stick some feathers. They were very proud of themselves showing their masks to each other.
We have our Tooth Booth Dental Show on Thursday 18th February. It is a fun Educational way for the children to learn all about their Teeth. If you would like your child to attend it, please sign the permission with the educators.
