What a fantastic Friday we had here in the Toddlers Room. Toddlers Two friends Vaughn and Charlotte joined us today for our wonderful day of playing and learning. During our morning activities, a few friends asked to go outside to explore the environment. Miss Thais and Miss Jess B transitioned the children outdoors where they enjoyed experiences such as climbing on the forte, small world play with the airport and sandpit play.
Inside, the children continued on with some more NAIDOC Week activities. The Toddler friends painted some more Native Australian Animals using the watercolour paints. Miss Jess M then gathered the boomerangs and the children used oil pastels to decorate their boomerangs. A few of the children used our books of Indigenous Australian Symbols as inspiration for their designs. Some other indoor experiences that the children enjoyed were building with the blocks, reading books, small world play with the dolls house and role playing in Home Corner.
