Happy Friday and Valentine’s day friends and family!
We have had an action-packed day from the get-go! This morning we had a special surprise from Miss Nads, she made our friends a sensory ‘Love Portion’ tray. It was the perfect way to start our day with a fun activity. Our friends also enjoyed pushing around baby dolls in the pram, balancing on the new obstacle course track, and of course, racing each other on the bikes. For our transition time this morning we read “Celeste the Giraffe Loves to Laugh’ and sung ‘Bee Bee Bumble Bee’ and then enjoyed a yummy morning tea altogether.
For group time this morning, Miss Jeni came in for dance! We loved learning new moves and listened very carefully to the dance instructions! Afterward, Miss Jordan took a few friends outside at a time and helped them decorate ‘Valentines Love Boxes’ that Ivy brought in for us. While Miss Thais and Maddi helped friends inside to bake a little treat to put in our boxes! The children loved the cooking experience today!! Now our brownie is in the oven getting ready for us soon!
Before lunch, we then combined with Toddlers 2 outside for more spontaneous play! Our friends are now having a big sleep after an exhausting and busy morning!
