Good afternoon and happy Friday everyone!
What a beautiful week we have had! This morning we welcomed; Delilah, Lara, August, Myah-Rae, Ariana, Tommy, Ava, Bella, Isabelle, Orion, Ruby, and Abel. Outdoors, we enjoyed sandpit cooking, farm animals and of course the diggers and trucks and reading “Follow That Tiger”!
When it was time to transition Miss Thais read “The Wonky Donkey” and “Wheels” which helped us transition the the bathroom to wash hands as we pretended to be our own wheels driving to the bathroom! For morning tea, we enjoyed Happy Apple Owl Rice Cakes and our friends ate so much food! For our first session of group time we had a dance party! As Miss Jeni was away today, we made up our own dance moves all together whilst wearing dress ups, we had such a ball!
During activity time our friends enjoyed moving between playdough and construction corner. Playdough is helping our friends use their imagination and help strengthen their hand-eye coordination, hand/finger muscles and fine motor skills! Our friends have also been showing a lot of interest in trucks so we made tunnels, bridges with our timber blocks and talked about the different elements and parts of each truck. To finish off our morning we made our way outdoors to enjoy the warm sun and slight breeze. We practiced balancing on the beams and the see-saw which has been a massive hit lately and loved playing chase on the bikes! Afterwards, for lunch we enjoyed Ocean Hugger Fish and Chips – it was so yummy and our friends loved it!!
We are now resting and our friends are tired after a busy week of so much fun together!
