Good Afternoon Everyone and Happy Monday!
Today we welcomed, Charlie, Ava, Rosie, Delilah, Lincoln, Tai, August, Orion, Millie, Able, Ruby and Brayden. What a beautiful morning we all had playing outside together. Our friends really enjoyed playing in the sandpit where we made cakes for one another and enjoyed going super high on the swing and taking turns on the see saw. Once it was time to transition inside for some morning tea our friends all sat together while Miss Maddi read us some stories before singing “if your happy and you know it” and “bee bee bumble bee” before going inside to wash our hands and enjoy Tuity Fruity Trifle with Mangoes, Custard and Crunchy Granola .
After morning tea, we sat in book corner where Miss Thais did a group time asking us how we were feeling today. The children could point to the different emotion face and share how they were feeling and also use their words to express themselves. After that Miss Thais read to us “Give me some space” as we are extending our learning on space and all the different planets. On wednesday we are goint to celebrate the National Simultaneous Storytime. The children really enjoyed learning about the different planets in space! We then decided to go for our own trip to space! We put all the chairs in a row on the mat and sat all together and took turns of driving the Rocketship in time with a Rocketship song – it was so FUN!!! The children also enjoyed a quiet time reading books and playing with magnetic blocks.
After enjoying indoor time we made our way outdoors just in time for yoga; we practiced slow breathing and some new stretches. We then enjoyed some spontaneous play where our friends showed interest in sandpit cooking, reading in the shade and looking out for the horses!
For Lunch today we ate; Authentic Italian Baked Ziti – it was delicious!
