Happy Monday families and friends! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend… Today in the Toddler room the children continued on with decorating their special Father’s Day gifts as we engaged in conversation about why we think are Dads are special to us! Miss Jess, for our morning yarn time, shared our Acknowledgement to Country and an Indigenous felt story entitled ‘How the birds got their new colours’. Harry, Harvey and Ivy took turns with the felts as they made bird noises and   pretended to fly. Miss Jess then taught the children a new transition song to prepare to wash their hands for morning tea. The children particularly enjoyed the yummy blueberries today. Play time today Harvey requested the Lego set. Harvey showed off his building skills as he made a ‘tractor with a tower on the back’ and then helped his friend Harry to make a truck too. Ivy made a farm with the Lego including a dog, cow and pig and some ‘grass for the animals to eat’. The children had a wonderful time role playing and using their imagination to design and create.

Until next time…

Love Miss Leesa & Miss Jess
