What another fun day of learning and playing we had today in the Toddler Room. After our weekly ARAKAN session, we decided it was too much of a nice day to spend inside. The children raced out to the yard where Miss Leesa had brought the chalk out. Ivy, Colton Y, Connor and Vaughn rushed straight over to the chalk and started drawing some impressive murals on the floor. While Taran was busy using the chalk to decorate rocks. Miss Jess then set up the ring toss game for the children to practice their hand eye coordination on. The children started throwing the rings onto the poles until Harper walked right up to the poles and just placed them on there. The other Toddlers started copying her and giggled as they placed the rings onto the poles.
Miss Steph brought out the bubbles! The Toddler Friends chased the bubbles through the yard, around the forte and watched as some of them escaped over the fence. Colton L brought one of the baby dolls outside with him and was caring for it as he played around the yard. The Toddlers then had a few running races around the yard and used the witches hats as markers for their races. After a play in the sandpit and with the cars, it was time to transition inside for hand washing and lunch! We had yummy Singapore Noodles with a fresh salad and then everyone had a nice sleep, ready to play again in the afternoon.
