Today we celebrated Outdoor Classroom Day. This is a global movement to inspire and celebrate outdoor play and learning, at home and at school. On Outdoor Classroom Day itself, which has two dates each year, teachers celebrate with a special day outdoors for their class with this years theme Love the Outdoors!
Friendship is a very special thing. It’s great to have friends, and being a friend to someone else feels good, too. Sometimes getting along with your friends is easy, and at other times it can get a little wobbly – but there are lots of ways to keep your friendships balanced and fun. The children are beginning to recognise that they have a right to belong to many communities, the Riversdale Early Learning Community with their friends with today’s water play activity and displayed awareness of and respect for others perspectives while working on keeping friendships balanced and fun enjoying the book called Friendship is like a seesaw. The children decided the pasta needed more colour they used their hands with increasing competence and skill to cover all the pasta.
Thanks for a great day xxx
